Many Marshall Fire victims are finding out their Insurance will NOT cover 100% of their loss from the fire. Whats worse is they just found out they are days away from not being able to file for large cash compensation due to statute of limitations on fire cases.

Xcel power is responsible for one of the fires that caused the death of 2 people, injured many, destroyed over 1000 homes and properties. Including partial burn to homes, property, smoke damage, soot/ash, evacuations, lost wages, loss of pets, livestock and the livelihood of residents. Victims may be owed a significant amount of money (Renters Included) and clients pay nothing unless the law firm wins but they must file now before it's too late.

Update: Marshall Fire Claim Deadline Approaching

As the December 2023 deadline is days away, victims are rushing to claim large cash compensation. Those who have not yet come forward risk running out of time if they don’t file now.

Marshall Fire Victims have been wronged by Xcel Energy and the insurance companies. Victims have days to decide if they want to join thousands of others who are filing suit against Xcel power.

In addition to losing everything in the Marshall fire, some victims are still recovering from injuries and some have even lost their lives.

“It’s a very difficult feeling where you try and do your due diligence to make the best choice and you’re told that you’ve got plenty of money and you’re overinsured,” she said. “When that turns out to not be true, the feeling in the air is, well, you should’ve gotten more insurance.”
- Erin Lindsey [1]

“We’ll be underinsured to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars, and I think some of my neighbors who bought earlier are in even worse shape."
Mark Wiranowski [2]

“We are not able to afford at this time to move back into a home that we lost in a community we love.”
Doug Baron, a homeowner who lost his house in the fire and found out his insurance policy was only a third of the construction cost to rebuild. [3]

When are the people going to come first?

For many survivors, the memory remains fresh.

In the morning of December 30, 2021, the Marshall Fire erupted as a grass fire in Boulder County, and raced east, causing $2 billion in damage, killing two people and getting over 1,056 homes destroyed. [4]

Victims have little to no time to claim the large cash compensation they deserve.

What’s worse, is most have been denied full compensation from their insurance companies. More than 150 insurance companies will make sure to get their money from Xcel, but they won’t cover 100% of the damages victims are owed.

Join the fight against negligence and greed. If you or loved one are victims of the Marshall fire, now is the time to claim your compensation before the December deadline.

Marshall Fire had two causes, Boulder County sheriff's office says

After 17 months of intense investigation, the Boulder County Sheriff's Office on Thursday announced the Marshall Fire was actually two separate fires started by two causes:

The first was caused by a fire at a residence that was left to smolder six days earlier. On December 30, the high wind event uncovered and reignited the smoldering fire at about 11 a.m., Boulder County Sheriff Curtis Johnson said. [3]

The cause of the 2nd fire was particle discharge from an Xcel power line.[4]

More than 150 insurance companies allege in a recent lawsuit that Xcel, which operates in eight states in the Midwest and West, failed to properly design, construct, inspect, maintain, repair or operate its electrical equipment before the Marshall Fire broke out on Dec. 30, 2021.

Had Xcel Energy de-energized its power lines, implemented a PSPS, buried its power lines or taken other necessary steps to prevent a power line ignition before or as high winds whipped through the region, the devastation caused by the Marshall Fire would have been prevented,”
One of the lawsuit said.[5]

Xcel Energy put thousands of Boulder County residents at risk while increasing their profits… and if evidence finds them guilty, they have to pay.
